A chance encounter with John Arnold at an Open House turned out to be a most rewarding experience. We were not planning to either buy or sell at the time, but were just looking to see what was available. John’s knowledge of the neighborhoods and his warmth and friendly demeanor led us to contact him when we decided to sell. We couldn’t have made a better choice to represent us. Not having bought or sold a home in years, we were anxious about the intricacies of successfully marketing our house and the procedures to do so. During this trying time for us John continually provided all the information we needed and gave advice and suggestions when we asked for it. We found him to be completely trustworthy as he helped us set the price and negotiate the sale. He advised us on staging, scheduled showings, hosted an Open House, and was in constant contact with us every step of the way. He helped us evaluate our offers, explained the necessary paperwork, and coordinated tight closing dates of the sale with the possession dates of our new home. His insight was invaluable to us as we then became buyers as well as sellers. John listened to our goals for a new home purchase and provided information on the market. As before, he represented us and our interests in the most helpful and professional way. As the purchase was consummated, John was again at our side in negotiations and at the closing.
